One Dozen Dairy-Free Desserts

Yum

Trying to avoid pasteurized dairy? No access to fresh goat or cow’s milk? Allergic to dairy? No need to go without ice cream!
Dairy Free Collage for ITT

Our favorite dairy-free ice cream consists of avocado and flavoring. Only three ingredients and no ice cream maker needed!

  • Fresh avocado
  • Flavoring of choice (could be raw cacao powder, lemon juice, lime juice etc.)
  • Sweetener of choice (Sweetener options include liquid stevia, powdered stevia, raw honey, non-GMO xylitol dissolved in lime juice.)

Blend in high-powered blender until creamy. Store in freezer until ready to serve. (It takes some time to thaw, unlike regular ice cream.)

This lime version goes nicely with this pie crust. (Recipe at Grain-free Sugar-free Key Lime Pie.)
